Three years after the fall of the iron curtain, Cardinal Kft. is founded.
1994
Creditanstalt Hungary, as the first partner, introduces Electra (under the name Spectra) and starts its dial-up home banking service. After many M&As they will become Unicredit Bank.
1995
CRAFT BondSystem, a computer-vision aided form processing tool launches.
2000
As the Internet become more wide-spead and more companies and people have web access, we create the Internet Banking platform, offering banking services in a browser.
2006
Long before two-factor authentication becomes an industry standard, we introduce it to enhance the security and reliability of the Electra platform.
2008
CRAFT DMS - The solution that supports a fully paperless office operation gets launched at K&H.
2011
A few years after the launch of the iPhone, Electra Mobile App becomes available on the market.
2018
Instant payment becomes a Hungarian standard. While supporting the introduction, we introduce Electra Pay, a QR code based payment solution.
2022
Built on the PSD2 XS2A framework, the Electra API becomes one of the key components of the Electra banking ecosystem.
2025
CRAFT DMS 2.0 is born, a flexible SaaS contract, invoice and document management system.
2026
Following the 2007 acquisition, HVB became UniCredit Bank. Today, UniCredit continues to use our internet banking, mobile banking, and API solutions — and we are proud to celebrate 32 years of trusted partnership.
