ViCA privacy policy (iOS)

ViCA uses some of your personal data during the operation of the ViCA application.

Personal data

The ViCA application uses following personal data:

1. During the registration process to a certain bank, it uses the registration data received from the bank (e.g. group code, short name, alias).

2. During any electronic communication with the bank, it uses the IP address of your device.

3. During any electronic communication with the bank, it uses the device ID (UUID).

4. It uses the transactional data sent by the bank.

Regarding the handling of any personal data, the corresponding sections of the contract between the client and the bank are prevalent.

Technical information

Why these data are needed:

1. The bank identifies you with the registration data.

2. The IP address is required for a successful electronic communication. For the communication with the server of the bank the application uses the internet connection built by the device (WIFI, 3G, 4G, etc.). During this process, it uses the IP address of the device.

3. Since the ViCA application can only be used from one device at any given time, it uses the device ID to identify the device (UUID).

According to the contract with the bank, the transactional data are transferred through an encrypted channel in accordance with the safety regulations, and exclusively to the server of the bank. The transactions are not stored locally in any way.

To handle push-notifications, the application establishes connection with the APNS service hosted by Apple. By using this service, Apple's privacy policy applies.

Third Party

Besides the client's bank and the services granted by Apple, the ViCA application does not connect to any other services hosted by third parties.
