Electronic signature

Signing newly created documents, verifying electronically signed incoming documents

Electronic signature

Documents are only created in an electronic form at an increasing rate today. But such documents will have a probative value only if they have the appropriate electronic signature. Depending on its content, an electronic document may need to comply with the same legal requirements for a certified signature as hard copy records. With some electronic documents it is not important who created them, but it must be possible to prove that their content has not changed over time even after years. These documents have to be signed with an electronic signature having a legal effect. CRAFT uses the e-Szignó service launched by Microsec zrt., the largest eIDAS-qualified trust service provider in Hungary, to sign documents and to verify signatures.
